About the Role

As an IT Technical Services Technician I, you will play a key role in resolving software and hardware issues for end users. You will troubleshoot problems, install applications, answer user questions, and document your work.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve software and hardware issues in a timely manner to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues through the ticketing system.
  • Utilize local and remote troubleshooting skills to address client problems.
  • Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with colleagues and clients.
  • Install department-approved applications on computers.
  • Answer phone calls from users experiencing technical difficulties or seeking guidance on software, email, or operating systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to research and find solutions to problems efficiently.
  • Document time and notes within each ticket as work progresses.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-1 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, Mac OS, and Microsoft Office.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Working knowledge of PC and software systems.
  • Creativity, imagination, and the ability to multi-task.
  • High stress tolerance and strong attention to detail.
  • Bilingualism in Spanish is required.
