About the Role
As an IT Technical Services Technician I, you will play a key role in resolving software and hardware issues for end users. You will troubleshoot problems, install applications, answer user questions, and document your work.
Responsibilities
- Resolve software and hardware issues in a timely manner to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues through the ticketing system.
- Utilize local and remote troubleshooting skills to address client problems.
- Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with colleagues and clients.
- Install department-approved applications on computers.
- Answer phone calls from users experiencing technical difficulties or seeking guidance on software, email, or operating systems.
- Collaborate with colleagues to research and find solutions to problems efficiently.
- Document time and notes within each ticket as work progresses.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-1 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
- Knowledge of Windows OS, Mac OS, and Microsoft Office.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of PC and software systems.
- Creativity, imagination, and the ability to multi-task.
- High stress tolerance and strong attention to detail.
- Bilingualism in Spanish is required.
