What You Will Do:

  • Develop new signal processing algorithms for calculating biosignal parameters and detecting diseases from sensor data.
  • Write highly optimized and scalable code following the IEC62304-based software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with signal processing and software development teams for healthcare problem solutions.
  • Lead experimental lab testing and data acquisition from clinical trials.
  • Define, document, and implement comprehensive unit and functional tests.
  • Conduct research to identify bottlenecks and define requirements for future products.

What You Should Bring:

  • PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
  • Experience and deep understanding of biomedical signal processing concepts.
  • Experience using signal processing libraries and machine learning frameworks.
  • Experience/knowledge in quantifying algorithm performance.
  • Track record of academic publications and/or patent applications.
  • Ability to write production-quality code with Python or similar languages.
  • Knowledge/experience of low-level C/C++ programming.
  • Knowledge/experience of Git, Docker, and IEC62304 standard (desirable).
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, understanding of technology, and a desire to learn.
  • Desire to make a difference and help real patients.
