What You Will Do:
- Develop new signal processing algorithms for calculating biosignal parameters and detecting diseases from sensor data.
- Write highly optimized and scalable code following the IEC62304-based software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with signal processing and software development teams for healthcare problem solutions.
- Lead experimental lab testing and data acquisition from clinical trials.
- Define, document, and implement comprehensive unit and functional tests.
- Conduct research to identify bottlenecks and define requirements for future products.
What You Should Bring:
- PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
- Experience and deep understanding of biomedical signal processing concepts.
- Experience using signal processing libraries and machine learning frameworks.
- Experience/knowledge in quantifying algorithm performance.
- Track record of academic publications and/or patent applications.
- Ability to write production-quality code with Python or similar languages.
- Knowledge/experience of low-level C/C++ programming.
- Knowledge/experience of Git, Docker, and IEC62304 standard (desirable).
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Creativity, attention to detail, understanding of technology, and a desire to learn.
- Desire to make a difference and help real patients.
