Your Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Care Assistants to join our dedicated team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and meal assistance. Whether providing long-term care, convalescence, respite, or palliative care, our focus remains on delivering the highest quality service at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Personal Care: Assist residents with daily activities including washing, dressing, and eating.
  • Emotional Support: Offer comfort and support to residents, especially those who are confused or distressed.
  • Activity Involvement: Engage in general activities within the care home, helping residents maintain their dignity and individuality.
  • End-of-Life Care: Provide compassionate care to residents at the end of their lives, ensuring their well-being is always prioritized.
  • Safeguarding: Recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and take appropriate action by reporting concerns and seeking advice as needed.

About You

You should have a genuine passion for caring for others and the ability to provide compassionate, personalized care. While previous experience is beneficial, full training will be provided. You will also be required to attend safeguarding training and have the ability to report and escalate concerns appropriately.
