About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting residents with personal care activities, including washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and meal assistance.
  • Providing care that meets the individual needs of residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend staff meetings.
  • Maintain personal and professional development, meeting the changing needs of the home.
  • Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are fully understood and adhered to, recognizing the importance of reducing the risk of abuse or neglect to adults needing care and support.
  • Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation.
  • Complete all required training as determined by the home.

About You

We are looking for kind and caring individuals who are committed to making a difference. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Desirable but not essential: Level 2 in Health & Social Care, or care certificate.
  • Previous experience working in a care home environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of leading a team.
  • A committed and organized approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts.
