Requirements
- Proven experience in transistor-level designs from scratch
- Strong understanding of parasitics, matching, and shielding
- Knowledge of library development (IO, Logic, Memory)
- Experience designing custom analog blocks like PLLs and ADCs
- Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso and verification tools (LVS, DRC)
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across teams
- Degree or equivalent experience in electronic or electrical engineering
- (Desirable) Familiarity with programming languages such as SKILL or Tcl
Salary Details

About the Role
The Layout Engineer will work within a dynamic IC Engineering team to design and deliver high-quality layouts that advance Pragmatic’s product roadmap. They’ll collaborate closely with analog designers and cross-functional teams to produce precise, manufacturable chip layouts supporting both current and future technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with analog designers to create top-quality layouts supporting product goals
- Complete chip-level floor planning, integration, and tape-out activities
- Design detailed transistor-level analog IP blocks such as PLLs and ADCs
- Develop logic libraries, IO, and memory libraries aligned with new technology updates
- Perform LVS, DRC, and extraction verification using industry-standard tools
- Engage in design reviews and maintain detailed documentation
- Collaborate with process and R&D teams to develop DFM rules and test chips
- Support next-generation technology development and layout optimization
