Position Overview:

Join a cutting-edge team as an Electrical Engineer, where your expertise in applied electromagnetics will be paramount. Work closely with defense customers, contractors, scientists, and program managers to understand needs, model electromagnetic phenomenologies, and contribute to signature predictions. Your role involves characterizing radar cross sections, validating computational predictions, and collaborating on interdisciplinary projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Engagement and Collaboration:
  • Work closely with defense customers, intelligence personnel, scientists, and program managers to comprehend requirements and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
  1. Electromagnetic Phenomenology:
  • Model and characterize electromagnetic phenomenologies, primarily in radio frequency (RF) bands.
  • Evaluate radar cross sections (RCS) and validate measured data.
  1. Computational Electromagnetics:
  • Utilize Computational Electromagnetic (CEM) prediction software for signature predictions.
  • Proficient in software tools such as SENTRi, Xpatch, COMSOL, CST, HFSS, Feko, etc.
  1. Technical Documentation:
  • Write and present technical information related to development activities.
  • Develop technical solutions and contribute to proposal writing for new projects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience or a master’s degree or higher with 6+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
  • Expertise in applied electromagnetics with proficiency in EM modeling and experimentation.
  • Strong skills in CEM prediction software with a proven history of applying simulation tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
  • Strong attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field.
  • Active SECRET or higher clearance is desired.
  • Familiarity with Radar Cross Section (RCS) design.
  • Knowledge of antenna design principles, array technology, frequency-selective surfaces, and radome design.
  • CAD and meshing familiarity.
  • Exposure to Automatic Target Recognition, radar signal processing fundamentals, MATLAB, Python, and C++.
  • Experience with high-performance computing (HPC), graphics processor units (GPU), and machine learning/artificial intelligence.

Pay Range:
$97,500.00 – $176,250
