As a key member under the Estate Manager’s direction, you’ll provide essential maintenance services, focusing on plumbing repairs and general upkeep. This full-time position requires availability on weekdays and weekends, ensuring the estate’s communal areas are well-maintained.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting daily maintenance duties as directed, following a structured weekly/monthly worksheet.
- Painting communal areas and promptly addressing any graffiti.
- Clearing snow and ice during inclement weather to maintain safe pathways.
- Reporting tenant complaints promptly and ensuring temporary fixes to prevent further damage.
- Handling minor maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs, unblocking drains, and securing voids as needed.
- Keeping detailed daily work logs and adhering to health and safety protocols.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- At least 2 years of experience in maintenance, with proficiency in plumbing and joinery.
- A reliable work ethic and the ability to respond to emergency service requests effectively.
- Knowledge of tenancy conditions and a commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents.
- Availability for on-call duties and a willingness to relocate or commute reliably to Bristol.
