Premier Community Care is currently seeking a dedicated Male Domiciliary Care Worker to join our team in Coundon. Job Summary

As a Male Domiciliary Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes. Your responsibilities will include personal care, medication administration, nutrition and hydration, and promoting independence. This role is crucial in helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life.

Training and Qualifications

No prior experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training to all new hires. While drivers are preferred, we also consider applicants who use e-bikes, motorcycles, or are walkers, depending on their postcode. It is essential that candidates are local to Durham County.

If you currently hold a healthcare or skilled worker visa, you must provide proof of your working hours with your employer (visa sponsor), with a minimum of 38 hours per week required for part-time positions with us.

Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Supporting individuals to remain independent in their homes
  • Providing personal care and assisting with bathing/showering
  • Administering medication
  • Ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
  • Assisting with shopping, laundry, and other household tasks
