Requirements

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Kindness and patience – you’ll be patients’ first point of contact
  • Flexibility to work late shifts until 6.30pm some days
  • Previous reception or admin experience is ideal but not essential

Salary Details
£23,873.60 annually, paid pro rata if part-time.

You’ll be the friendly face and voice of the practice, helping patients book appointments, collect prescriptions, and access the right care. Every day brings new challenges and chances to make a real difference in people’s lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer calls with care – guiding vulnerable patients to the right help
  • Manage appointments – ensuring smooth clinic flow for doctors and nurses
  • Update records – keeping patient information accurate and confidential
  • Support prescriptions – helping people get vital medications on time
  • Learn medical systems – with full training on NHS software
