Requirements:
- Experience with mental health, autism, challenging behaviors, and learning disabilities
- Confidence in using restraint or willingness to train
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and creative in supporting individuals
- Willingness to engage in physical activities (biking, fishing, etc.)
- Must work shifts as required by the service
- Strong values and commitment to personal development
- Preferred: NVQ qualification, Care Certificate, knowledge of diabetes, driving license, proximity to Spalding
Salary Details
Starting rate is £11.90 per hour, with overtime at £12.40 per hour.
About the Role
As a Mental Health Support Worker, the candidate will deliver person-centered care to individuals in their homes, helping them achieve greater independence and community involvement. The role includes creating care plans, assisting with risk management, and providing emotional and physical support tailored to each person’s unique needs.
