Requirements

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Software Engineer in fast moving agile environments
• Skilled in Node.js, TypeScript, RESTful APIs and familiar with Docker workflows
• Confident using AI tools responsibly for testing, research and productivity
• Working knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL
• Experience with React or Angular for modern web interfaces
• Understanding of AWS cloud services and CI/CD concepts
• Clear communicator comfortable leading discussions and mentoring junior engineers

About the Role

This mid level engineering role sits at the heart of Diligent’s AI transformation. You’ll design, build and refine secure, scalable serverless microservices using Node.js, TypeScript and React within an AWS environment. Every line of code you write will improve how global organisations govern, measure risk and lead with purpose.

You’ll collaborate across cross functional teams, help shape architectural decisions and use AI powered tools to speed up delivery while maintaining accuracy. Expect to mentor others, support clean coding practices and help create a modern development culture that values experimentation and ethical AI adoption.

• Deliver well defined user stories that align with system architecture and goals
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement of team practices
• Support and mentor junior developers to encourage confidence and skill growth
