Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Risk Management, or related fields.
• Expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python, SQL, R, Julia, or Fortran.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to create actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Curious about AI, risk management, and responsible innovation.
• Availability to work in London from June 15 to August 21, 2026.

About the Role

As a Model and Software Specialist Intern, you’ll play an active role in helping clients make the most of Moody’s cutting-edge products. You’ll support the development of tools, training, and educational materials, while exploring innovative ways to improve client experience. This internship gives you the chance to work with AI-driven risk models, contribute to meaningful projects, and see how technology transforms complex challenges into actionable insights.

You’ll be part of a team that partners with insurance clients, helping them understand catastrophe, climate, and credit risks. Your work will directly support their ability to manage risk responsibly and thrive in changing markets.

• Support clients in effectively using Moody’s products to enhance their decision-making.
