Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour + £2000 welcome bonus
Night Shifts: 8.00pm to 8.00am – weekend work included
This is a care job that helps people with various needs. Key requirements for this post: positive attitude, patience, and friendliness. Responsibilities include personal care provision, support with daily activities, and stimulation of independent living. Ample prior experience is considered, but the key is willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care: bathing and grooming, dressing, and eating
- Light housekeeping: dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens
- Assisting in safe lifting and transferring
- Assisting the recipient in attending medical appointments
- Observing and reporting changes in physical and emotional well-being
- Enjoying social and recreational activities
Skills and Experience
- Good interpersonal and caring skills
- Empathy, understanding, and patience
- Be a member of a team
- Good spoken and written English
- A healthcare qualification is desirable but not necessary
