Salary Details
This role offers a Band 4 salary of £27,898 to £30,615 annually, with NHS benefits and allowances in line with experience and working arrangements.
About the Role
This is your chance to be a vital part of a dynamic Occupational Therapy team working directly in a special education school setting. You’ll support assessments, interventions, and equipment provision for children and young people aged 3 to 19. One post is full time throughout the year, and the other is term-time only, giving flexibility to suit your lifestyle.
You’ll be based at Ysgol Y Deri special school, working hand-in-hand with qualified Occupational Therapists, teaching staff, and families. Whether it’s adapting learning environments or helping a child become more independent, your support will be central to shaping a more inclusive and empowering school experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day Occupational Therapy interventions under OT guidance
- Support assessments and help with care planning
- Liaise confidently with teachers, parents, and MDT members
- Help manage and review therapy equipment provision
- Contribute to creating a safe, motivating, and responsive therapy environment
- Embody the trust’s values in everything you do
