Job Description

Teleperformance is looking for a solicitor with between 1 and 4 years of post-qualification experience to join its UK Legal team. This is an excellent opportunity to assist with a variety of legal work and to take ownership of specific areas of responsibility.

Location: Hybrid working model (Bristol-based, two days per fortnight at the head office, occasional travel for meetings)

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and other legal documents.
• Engaging with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and external lawyers.
• Providing advice on legal matters such as data privacy, intellectual property, and dispute resolution.
• Handling company secretarial matters.
• Managing contract templates.
• Conducting legal research.
• Assisting other business areas with legal queries.
• Developing and running legal training for other departments.

The Ideal Candidate

Key Attributes

• Demonstrable experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, with the ability to explain legal concepts to non-lawyers.
• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Competency with IT, especially Microsoft 365, and quick adaptability to information systems.
• Ability to make decisions and seek guidance when needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified solicitor (England and Wales).
• Suitable for up to 4 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Experience as in-house legal counsel or on secondment is ideal; private practice candidates will also be considered.
• Right to work in the UK.
