Salary Details
This role offers a Band 4 salary starting from £26,530 up to £29,114, depending on experience.
About the Role
This role isn’t just about ticking boxes. As a Peer Support Work Coordinator, you’ll use your lived experience to help others feel seen, heard, and supported. You’ll guide and mentor peer support workers, helping them deliver one-to-one and group sessions that bring a real impact.
They’re looking for someone who can bring emotional depth, team coordination, and a passion for helping others. You’ll also play a part in shaping how peer support evolves across the trust. Key Responsibilities
- Provide peer mentoring and admin support to the peer support worker team
- Deliver structured peer support sessions and group activities
- Use your own recovery journey to inspire hope in service users
- Help develop and deliver training sessions to raise awareness of lived experience
- Support recruitment through participation in interview panels
- Promote the role of peer support and lived experience across services
- Collaborate closely with User Engagement Leads and receive structured supervision

This role requires a standard or enhanced check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
