About the Role
They’re after someone hands-on, someone who can hit the ground running and support their paediatric physiotherapy service across sites like Princess of Wales Hospital, Royal Glamorgan Children’s Centre, and community schools.
This isn’t your run-of-the-mill support role. It’s a chance to work directly with children, deliver personalised physiotherapy programmes in group and one-on-one settings, and step up as a real contributor. You’ll be trusted to carry out delegated assessments, design and implement care plans, and be involved in discharging patients. All under structured protocols and real mentorship.
What’s more, your input matters. From data collection to suggesting improvements, your voice helps shape the service. It’s dynamic, it’s rewarding, and yes – it’s challenging. But if you’re passionate about career growth and making a difference, this could be exactly what you need.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapy programmes in clinical and school environments
- Lead group and individual rehabilitation sessions
- Support new patient assessments and care planning
- Modify treatments based on patient response
- Perform discharge assessments and manage follow-up
- Carry out manual handling tasks safely and efficiently
- Support clerical and administrative duties
- Collaborate on data analysis and service development ideas

This post falls under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. You’ll need a Disclosure check from the Disclosure and Barring Service before starting.
