Requirements

  • Four GCSEs including Maths, English Language, and two sciences at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent
  • Commitment to completing the two-year Pharmacy Technician course and distance learning
  • Good IT skills and ability to follow procedures carefully
  • Positive attitude with strong communication and team working skills
  • Able to manage time well, prioritise tasks, and work flexibly

Salary Details

Annual salary range between 26,530 and 29,114 pounds depending on experience and qualifications

About the Role

This is your chance to jumpstart a career as a Pharmacy Technician through a blend of practical, on-the-job training and study leading to General Pharmaceutical Council registration. You will gain real-world experience across different pharmacy departments while developing the autonomy to work confidently and responsibly. Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake distance learning combined with hands-on training to complete your pharmacy qualification and gain registration

  • Collaborate with colleagues, tutors, and healthcare teams for a well-rounded learning experience
  • Maintain safe working practices aligned with medicines legislation and health and safety laws
  • Attend fortnightly meetings with your Educational Supervisor to track your progress and get feedback
  • Participate actively in regional study days and online forums to broaden your knowledge
