  • IBMS Accredited BSc in Biomedical Science or equivalent
  • HCPC Registration or working towards it with an accredited degree
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability to thrive across different hospital sites and within extended service hours
  • Eagerness to learn and develop advanced technical knowledge

About the Role

This role is about being part of a forward-thinking biochemistry team that delivers a high-quality specialist diagnostic service. The department supports patient care across Gateshead, South Tyneside, and Sunderland. Candidates will rotate across all three sites, working extended hours and supporting out-of-hours services. This variety offers a chance to sharpen specialist diagnostic techniques while contributing directly to better healthcare outcomes.
