About the Role

Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking motivated, compassionate, and hardworking Band 5 Registered Nurses to join their dedicated team. Nurses will be working across ICU, Trauma & Orthopaedics, and Renal Units, providing crucial patient care while supporting the multi-disciplinary teams within the department and the wider Trust. Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing patient needs, planning, and evaluating evidence-based care.
  • Organizing own workload and guiding junior staff to ensure patient-centered care.
  • Contributing to the effective and economical use of resources, including managing stock control and supplies.
  • Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Providing feedback and participating in continuous quality improvement within the department.
  • Supporting patients, carers, and relatives with sensitive communication and health education.

Main Duties

This role supports a 24/7 service, requiring flexibility for shift work, including:

  • Early Shift: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm / 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
  • Long Day: 7:00 am – 7:30 pm / 7:30 am – 8:00 pm
  • Late Shift: 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
  • Night Shift: 7:00 pm – 7:30 am / 7:30 pm – 8:00 am

Salary Details

The full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week, with part-time roles available ranging from 23.5 to 30 hours. The minimum requirement for this role is 23.5 hours per week.
