Requirements
- Completion of Care Certificate with proven competencies.
- English and Mathematics qualifications at GCSE C or above or Level 2 Functional Skills.
- At least 1 year of clinical experience engaging with service users or patients.
- Strong communication skills to handle sensitive information and build trust.
- Ability to prioritise and coordinate work independently within team settings.
- Empathy and resilience when working with individuals who may display challenging behaviour.
- Desirable: Health and Social Care Level 2/3 qualification, experience in varied clinical settings, or training in specialist skills such as ECG or Phlebotomy.

As a Recovery Support Worker, you’ll help individuals take charge of their recovery journey. You’ll offer time, understanding, and consistent support to people rebuilding their lives after experiencing psychosis. Your role goes beyond routine care; it’s about fostering hope and autonomy. Working alongside care coordinators, you’ll contribute to holistic care plans that promote empowerment, equality, and wellbeing.
You’ll work across community settings, ensuring that each person receives support that respects their dignity and goals. Every conversation, every visit, every bit of encouragement you offer helps restore confidence and rebuild lives.
