Requirements

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Confident using SQL for data extraction and analysis
  • Experience with healthcare data systems
  • Strong Power BI skills, or a willingness to learn fast
  • Skilled in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Great at explaining data insights to non-tech colleagues
  • Organised, analytical, and a solid team player
  • Ready to work from home with a reliable setup

Salary Details

The position pays £37,338 annually, aligned with NHS Band 6 pay structure and benefits.

About the Role

This role sits in the Analysis and Reporting team of the Healthcare Analytics department. It’s a high-impact role where the day-to-day includes building Power BI dashboards, handling statutory data returns, and digging into ad hoc analysis requests. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across departments to create actionable insights from complex data sets. And as the Trust rolls out a unified Electronic Patient Record system, you’ll help shape the future of data across acute, mental, and community care. Sound exciting?

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards
  • Prepare and submit statutory NHS returns
  • Handle ad hoc data queries with speed and accuracy
  • Analyse and interpret data to guide key decisions
  • Communicate complex findings in simple terms
  • Collaborate in daily virtual huddles to share progress
  • Help shape new reporting tools and data pipelines
