About the Role
If you’re after a clinical role that actually changes lives and fuels your curiosity, this one ticks both boxes. As a Research Nurse, Allied Health Professional, or Assistant Psychologist, you’ll play a hands-on role in high-quality studies focused on dementia and neurological conditions.
You’ll work across both the Brain Centre and the Clinical Research Centre at Southmead, primarily supporting the South West Dementia Brain Bank and Bristol Brains for Dementia Research team. That means building trust with donors, families, and healthcare staff while navigating the ethical, legal, and human side of research. You won’t just collect samples or data, you’ll be part of a team shaping how we understand and treat some of the most challenging conditions out there.
This isn’t about ticking boxes. It’s about being part of something meaningful, working with people who care, and doing a job that sticks with you long after the day is done.
