Requirements

Salary Details

You’ll earn between £24,625 and £25,674 per year, depending on experience. This is a Band 3 part-time, fixed-term role over 12 months, with NHS pension and full employee benefits included.

About the Role

This admin role holds real weight. As the go-to person managing the DAWN Rheumatology database, you’ll keep vital systems running smoothly so the clinical team can deliver top-tier patient care. You’ll organise monthly reports, input clinical data, and liaise with IT and software providers. It’s technical, yes, but also collaborative—you’ll be training staff, guiding best practice, and contributing directly to safer, better care. This is more than back-office support. It’s about building confidence in data, shaping decisions, and helping patients behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and update the DAWN database daily
  • Collect, input, and verify patient data from various systems
  • Use IT tools to generate insights, reports, and performance outputs
  • Present findings at monthly Rheumatology MDT meetings
  • Ensure good data governance and adherence to Trust protocols
  • Offer staff training and ongoing support in DAWN usage
  • Collaborate with software providers for upgrades and troubleshooting
