Salary Details

This role is Band 3 under the NHS Agenda for Change pay scheme, offering £24,937 to £26,598 per annum (pro rata).

About the Role

As a Therapy Technical Instructor, you’ll support therapists in helping patients regain independence and achieve personal goals after illness, injury, or surgery. You’ll rotate across areas such as Surgery, Stroke, Elderly Medicine, Respiratory, Trauma Orthopaedics, and Frailty—each rotation giving you fresh challenges and experiences.

Your day involves guiding patients through therapeutic activities, demonstrating safe use of equipment, and documenting progress that helps shape ongoing care. Every patient you support will rely on your empathy, communication, and practical skills to rebuild confidence and function.

This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on care, problem-solving, and working in a dynamic team. You’ll never have two identical days, and the sense of impact you’ll feel will be real.
