Job Overview
The role involves administering the Trust ID card services and providing clerical support to the division. It requires maintaining effective communication and professional relationships with colleagues.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Serve as the primary contact for Trust ID card services within the Security Department.
  • Verify ID card request forms for proper completion and authorization.
  • Resolve ID card-related queries and provide reports to the Security Manager as needed.
  • Adhere to departmental procedures and organize individual workload.
  • Plan for seasonal adjustments to door access control systems.
  • Ensure timely production and issuance of ID cards during large staff changeovers.
  • Deactivate ID cards for departing staff or those on extended leave.
  • Organize and service internal and external meetings.
  • Maintain and back up paper and electronic records.
  • Scan and properly save relevant documents.
  • Assist with ordering departmental stationery.
  • Report equipment failures and identify potential cost savings to the manager.
  • Follow financial procedures for issuing replacement ID cards.
  • Investigate and urgently report faults with access control doors.
  • Override door access controls as instructed by management or clinical site teams.
