Requirements
• Professional accountancy qualification at postgraduate diploma level or equivalent
• Five GCSEs at grades 4 to 9 including Maths and English
• Proven ability to analyse detailed financial data and perform complex calculations and reconciliations
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial ledgers and finance software tools
• Demonstrable experience providing management accounting information and advice
• Substantial experience in a finance role within an office environment

The Senior Assistant CSU Accountant role offers a salary from 37,338 to 44,962 per year depending on experience

You’ll help shape budgets, analyse performance and drive sustainable improvements alongside clinical and corporate teams. Key Responsibilities
• Support budget planning and financial analysis to guide decision making
• Collaborate with managers and clinicians to develop and monitor savings plans
• Produce bespoke financial reports and reconciliations using finance software
• Advise on financial strategies and policies to improve service delivery
• Assist in developing business cases for service changes
• Maintain accurate records and communicate findings clearly
• Promote engagement and understanding of financial performance across units
