Requirements
- Degree in data analytics, health informatics, or related field
- Strong hands-on skills in SQL, Power BI, SSIS, VBA, and Excel
- Knowledge of healthcare data systems like RIS, PACS, and NHS imaging datasets
- Experience leading complex BI reporting for healthcare or similar sectors
- Able to work with clinicians and digital leaders to shape decision-making
- Comfortable producing dashboards, performance packs, and bespoke analytics
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Salary Details
This post offers a Band 8a NHS salary between 47,810 and 54,710 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop advanced BI reports to improve imaging performance and delivery
- Analyse regional datasets to spot trends, gaps, and opportunities
- Shape data strategy through collaboration with programme managers and clinicians
- Translate complex findings into visual dashboards that tell the right story
- Lead on performance reviews using live data insights
- Ensure NHS reporting standards and data governance are fully met
- Provide expert knowledge on RIS and NHS imaging datasets to shape solutions
