About the Role

As a Senior Nurse, you will be a key player in delivering exceptional care to 45 male residents at Forest Lodge, a mental health care home in East London. The role involves leading the clinical team, managing care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of care are met. You will bridge the gap between nursing and management, guiding the clinical team, overseeing treatments, and ensuring that all care protocols are adhered to.

The Senior Nurse will also be responsible for patient assessments, medicines management, and care planning. Their focus will be on driving patient outcomes and creating a safe, supportive environment for residents with complex mental health needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and monitor all aspects of patient care and treatment
  • Develop and implement individual care plans
  • Conduct assessments and manage medicines administration
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team
  • Participate in clinical meetings and report concerns to management
  • Support residents with daily activities and therapeutic engagements
