Job Description

Wirral Council is seeking dedicated Social Workers and Experienced Social Workers to join their team. These professionals will work closely with children, young people, and families, developing child-centered, co-produced plans that are both aspirational and sustainable. The role involves building core skills in child protection and child in need, providing emotional support, and collaborating with a supportive and nurturing team to improve outcomes for children and families.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Experience in child protection or child in need roles
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in spoken English
  • Ability to develop and implement child-centered care plans
  • Flexibility to work within a hybrid model, balancing office and remote work
  • A commitment to continuous learning and self-development

Compensation

Salary: £36,648 – £43,421 per year Additional benefits include a flexible working schedule, access to a bespoke wellbeing program, and opportunities for professional development.
