Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Addictions Practitioner to join the LYPFT’s multi-disciplinary team. This permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week) is based across various sites in Leeds. The role involves providing specialized addiction treatment, including psychosocial and pharmacological interventions, harm reduction, and risk management to individuals with co-existing mental health issues and/or pregnancy needs. The successful candidate will manage a caseload and deliver evidence-based psychosocial interventions while benefiting from extensive training and career development opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience with complex cases involving trauma and addiction.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with distressed and challenging service users.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Eligible for NHS sponsorship if requiring a visa to work in the UK.
