Google is currently offering an opportunity for the role of Security Sales Specialist at Mandiant, a part of Google Cloud. The position is open in locations such as Washington D.C., DC, USA, with remote eligibility for District of Columbia, USA; Kentucky, USA; Maryland, USA.

To qualify for this role, candidates need a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 7 years of experience in a sales role in enterprise software or cloud space. Additionally, 5 years of experience in promoting clients in enterprise cybersecurity or IT is required, and the candidate should be open to traveling up to 50% of the time.

Preferred qualifications include a track record of exceeding strategic business goals in a sales role, experience in starting a territory from scratch, understanding the security partner ecosystem, and knowledge of product and solution market trends in cybersecurity and Cloud. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational and communication skills, with an ability to build continuous relationships with C-level executives across security and IT business units.

In this role, the Security Sales Specialist will play a crucial role in the growth of the cybersecurity business by establishing and expanding relationships with both new and existing customers. Responsibilities encompass constructing and executing an effective territory development plan, providing security products to customers, meeting or exceeding quarterly goals, and managing the end-to-end process from lead generation to customer onboarding.

Mandiant, known for its expertise in dynamic cyber defense, threat intelligence, and incident response services, is now a part of Google Cloud. The position offers a competitive US base salary range of $125,000-$190,000, coupled with bonus, equity, and benefits.
