Requirements

  • NVQ Level III in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Care or Health and Social Care, or equivalent experience
  • Experience as a Therapy Assistant working with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists
  • Confidence managing a patient caseload independently
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Moving and handling skills, plus ability to travel for community visits
  • Evidence of lifelong learning and commitment to professional development

Salary Details

The post offers £27,485 – £30,162 per year under Agenda for Change Band 4, with access to the full NHS benefits package.

About the Role

As a Specialist Therapy Assistant, you’ll work closely with physiotherapists and occupational therapists to deliver meaningful care in people’s homes. You’ll assess, plan, and implement therapy programmes, supporting patients with mobility, balance, and long-term conditions.
