Requirements
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle
- Must be female (for genuine occupational requirement reasons related to care needs)
- At least one year of home care experience
- Good computer literacy for digital care records
- Strong time management, empathy, and communication skills
- Willingness to attend face-to-face training in Woodbridge
- Must complete an enhanced DBS check and provide references

About the Role
As a Community Care Worker, you’ll visit clients across North Ipswich, Felixstowe, Martlesham, Woodbridge, Hollesley, Alderton, and surrounding areas. Your role is to help individuals stay independent and comfortable in their own homes. You’ll support with personal care, medication, companionship, and other daily living needs. Each visit is an opportunity to make a real, human difference — offering not just care, but kindness and reassurance.
You’ll work within a two-week rotating schedule, ensuring consistency and a healthy work-life balance. Every day brings a chance to connect, listen, and bring comfort to those who need it most.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal and emotional support that promotes client independence
- Administer medication safely following care plans
- Offer companionship and social interaction to reduce isolation
- Keep accurate digital records of visits and care provided
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and reliability
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care
