Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join the Renal team. The ward consists of 27 beds and works closely alongside the dialysis unit. The Band 5 position offers the chance to develop a broad range of skills and experience.

The role involves taking responsibility for the safe and effective delivery of care for a number of patients, supported by the ward senior team. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality care and will contribute to maintaining a safe and effective clinical environment.

Education and qualifications
Essential criteria
• NMC Registration
• BLS & ILS trained
• Teaching qualification (e.g., ENB 998 or equivalent)
• Evidence of ongoing professional development
Desirable criteria
• A1 Assessor course
• Preparation for Mentorship
• ALS
Experience and knowledge
Essential criteria
• Willingness to share knowledge
• Awareness of current political/professional issues
• Demonstrates awareness of the 6C’s, Trust values, and Patients First Service Standards
• Knowledge of the Data Protection Act
• Previous acute experience within the NHS
Desirable criteria
• Research experience
