Requirements
- Full GMC registration and license to practice in the UK
- MRCOG qualification
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills
- Experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, ideally with exposure to urogynaecological care
- Strong understanding of audit, research, and evidence-based practice
- Empathy, interpersonal confidence, and clear communication
- Committed to the RCOG curriculum and subspecialty progression
- Able to contribute to a 1 in 9 obstetrics and gynaecology on-call rota
Salary Details
Salary is in line with senior registrar pay scales and determined by experience and training status.
About the Role
This is a highly competitive role offering subspecialty training in Urogynaecology at one of the UK’s most advanced centres. You’ll be part of a close-knit unit delivering cutting-edge care to patients from across the country, many of whom present with complex pelvic floor disorders.
From working in urogynaecology and pelvic floor clinics to developing skills in endoanal ultrasound, manometry, and urodynamic testing, this role provides the full range of advanced diagnostics and treatments. You’ll also be expected to contribute to research, attend regional MDT meetings, and support service development.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care through urogynaecology, pelvic floor, and urodynamic clinics
- Participate in specialist surgical lists, including laparoscopic and prolapse repair
- Join a 1 in 9 rota covering general obstetrics and gynaecology
- Support research and service development in collaboration with Imperial College London
- Take part in regional and local MDT meetings, contributing to patient management discussions
- Guide junior colleagues and participate in academic and audit activities
- Uphold the Trust’s patient-centred values across all interactions
