Requirements

  • Foundation Degree in Nursing Associate Studies
  • NMC registration as a Registered Nursing Associate
  • GCSEs Grade C/4 or Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English
  • Clear understanding of evidence-based care and treatment plans
  • Confident with time management, communication, and clinical records
  • Able to work independently but always with team support

Bonus if youโ€™ve supervised others or have experience in reflective practice or mentorship.

From wound care and catheter management to administering meds, youโ€™ll carry your own caseload while staying connected to the wider nursing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on care like wound management, catheter care, and injections
  • Support complex care plans under supervision of Registered Nurses
  • Act quickly and safely by completing risk assessments and escalating issues
  • Maintain clear records and contribute to team decision-making
  • Use your training to offer advice and education to patients and carers
  • Foster continuity by managing your own patient caseload
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for better patient outcomes
