Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and readiness to keep developing
• Three years of experience working with people facing mental health difficulties
• Ability to listen closely and communicate with ease
• Confidence working without supervision in different settings
• Positive approach to forming therapeutic relationships
• Creative mindset to help service users move toward goals

Salary Details

The salary sits within NHS Band 4 and is normally offered at the lower end unless previous experience in a similar NHS role can be shown.

Key Responsibilities

• Support service users through day to day challenges so they feel less alone in moments of stress
• Contribute to crisis support which helps keep people safe at difficult times
• Assist with medication related tasks so treatment plans stay on track
• Offer long term social and practical support which strengthens recovery
• Help run group sessions that give people space to share and build confidence
• Work alongside practitioners to keep caseloads steady and well managed
• Build trusting therapeutic relationships that help service users move toward independence
