Position Title: Support Worker
About the Role
Join our dedicated team at Ceiriosen Bren, a small, nurturing service supporting four adults with Learning Disabilities in a “home from home” environment. As a Support Worker, you will play an essential role in improving the lives of the people we support and their families by providing person-centred care and promoting independence and dignity.
You don’t need prior qualifications or care experience—what’s truly important is your compassion, dedication, and desire to make a difference.
Key Responsibilities
Care and Support
- Deliver high-quality emotional and practical care for vulnerable adults within a residential setting.
- Follow person-centred care plans to ensure tailored support for each individual.
- Assist with everyday tasks, including:
- Personal care (e.g., bathing, dressing).
- Meal preparation.
- Medication administration.
- Shopping and household tasks.
Promoting Well-Being
- Facilitate engaging, person-centred activities that promote dignity, independence, and overall well-being.
- Build meaningful relationships with the people you support, listening to their needs and empowering them to make their own choices.
Teamwork and Independence
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality care.
- Take responsibility when working independently to ensure the health, safety, and happiness of those in your care.
Regulatory Compliance
- Adhere to guidelines set by Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales.
- Maintain a high standard of care in line with regulatory requirements.

Additional Requirements
- Must be over 18 to apply.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, night shifts, and early or late shifts as part of a rota.

Shift Patterns and Contracted Hours
- Flexible contracted hours: 22.5 to 45 hours per week.
- Work includes weekends, night shifts, and varied schedules as required by the rota.
Additional Information
- No prior care experience is necessary—full training and support will be provided.
- After successfully completing your probationary period, you can undertake a QCF Level 2 qualification, fully funded and supported by us.
