Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in health or social care settings is a plus
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (desirable)
- Able to engage and motivate adults with additional needs
- Organised, empathetic, and team-focused
- Comfortable with manual handling and personal care support
- Competent using basic IT tools and completing documentation
- Passionate about promoting choice, dignity, and independence
Salary Details
This is a Band 2 post offering £24,465 per year, based on a Monday to Friday schedule with 5-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities
- Support adults to achieve personal goals in a warm and safe environment
- Assist with personal care and manual handling using approved aids
- Help run group activities that build social, vocational, or creative skills
- Keep accurate records and follow care plans under team lead supervision
- Promote independence while respecting each person’s dignity and choices
- Spot and report equipment issues or missing resources
- Attend training and reflect on personal growth through supervision
