Job Summary

Conquest Business Solutions is hiring an experienced Systems Architect to join our Digital Technology & Data team in Manchester. This is a senior-level opportunity for a Pega-certified professional to lead architectural design and system implementation across large-scale programs. You will collaborate with product owners, SMEs, and third-party partners to deliver scalable, maintainable, and industry-aligned technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Define architectural designs, solution options, and make strategic recommendations
Ensure all system solutions meet business needs while aligning with architectural governance
Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout project phases
Collaborate with implementation partners and stakeholders to deliver business-aligned solutions
Document process flows, user interface specifications, and functional designs
Lead development team grooming sessions and product playback reviews
Support user acceptance testing and validate deliverables against business requirements
Demonstrate and apply Pega Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) capabilities and frameworks
Act as lead testing resource and provide expert-level consulting across multiple projects
Work within Agile and Scrum environments, supporting all stages of the software development lifecycle

Technical Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of industry experience
Pega certification: Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA)
Expertise across project lifecycle stages including analysis, elaboration, and development
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
Proficiency in documentation such as process flows, UI mockups, and use cases
Deep knowledge of case management processes and implementation best practices
Industry-specific experience in one or more of the following:

• Financial Services
• Healthcare
• Insurance
• Decisioning Products (DSM/CDM)
• Telecom, Public Sector, Corporate Markets, Travel, Manufacturing, or Life Sciences

Person Specification

Proven experience managing stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives
Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical
Strong leadership and people management capabilities
Ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions
Quick adaptability in a dynamic work environment
Consulting background with experience delivering across multiple projects
