Requirements
- Two A-Level science qualifications or equivalent
- Scientific background at foundation degree level or similar
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Enthusiastic about applied science and working with people
- Able to absorb new info and apply it practically
- Desirable: previous experience with patient-facing tasks or data analysis
Salary Details
This is a training post with a salary band of £26,928 to £29,551 per year, offered on a fixed term basis for 2 years. Placement sites include Singleton or Neath Port Talbot Hospital with some travel across the health board.
About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Complete in-post training while studying part-time at Swansea University
- Assist in testing hearing and fitting hearing aids for adult patients
