Requirements

  • Recognised qualification in nursing, social work, or occupational therapy
  • Two years systemic training (intermediate level) OR one year IAPT systemic family practice
  • Registration with NMC, HCPC, or SWE
  • Demonstrated CORE systemic skills with families
  • Able to balance academic study and a family therapy caseload
  • Up-to-date knowledge in systemic and family therapy practices

Salary Details

They’re offering £37,338 to £44,962 per year while you train, with the potential to step up into a full Band 7 salary once qualified and registered with UKCP/AFT.

About the Role

This is a rare chance to launch a long-term NHS career in family therapy with full academic and professional support. You’ll join a well-established Family Therapy Service within CAMHS, where you’ll work hands-on with families facing a range of challenges. Alongside your clinical work, you’ll study for a fully-funded MSc in Systemic Family Therapy. Once qualified, you’ll step into a permanent position as a Band 7 Family Therapist.
If you’ve already completed two years of recognised systemic training or a year of CYIAPT, you’re eligible to apply.
