About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will assist individuals with acquired brain injuries, offering tailored care to promote independence and improve their quality of life. This role involves tasks such as medication management, personal care, community engagement, and assisting with household responsibilities.
For senior positions, added responsibilities include team supervision, care planning, and conducting risk assessments.
Roles include:
- Female Support Worker – Tibberton: Supporting a female client on weekends with potential full-time opportunities.
- Male Support Worker – Gobowen: Assisting a blind client with mobility and hobbies such as gardening and audiobooks.
- Support Worker – Shrewsbury: Transitioning a young adult to independent living.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing tailored care and support to individuals with acquired brain injuries.
- Encouraging clients’ participation in community activities and personal hobbies.
- Assisting with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and budgeting.
- Supporting physical mobility and personal goal achievement.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure clients’ needs are met.
- Maintaining accurate care records and adhering to safety protocols.
