This position is specifically targeted at students attending the AUCC career fairs on 2/6, 2/15, or 2/16. As part of Verizon, a global technology and communications services provider, you’ll be immersed in meaningful work with tangible business impact.

What the Role Involves:

• Full Stack Software Development in the Verizon Global Network & Technology organization.
• Handling all components of an application stack, contributing to the entire pipeline.
• Collaborating with clients to gather requirements and propose solutions for business initiatives.
• Scripting, coding, and testing product components using various programming languages.
• Identifying and escalating issues during testing to ensure product compliance with business requirements.
• Providing updates on project status, proposals, or technical issues to internal teams.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Currently enrolled at an AUCC school and attending career fairs on specified dates.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant majors with a completion date of June 2024.
• Coursework or demonstrated experience in Python, Java, and C++.
• Coursework or demonstrated experience in cloud-based systems and architecture.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
• Willingness to travel and work in Branchburg, NJ.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong written and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
• Ability to work with back-end and front-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with web development, QA, automation tools, or Secure SW development cycle.
