About the Role

The Warehouse Operative will manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of food. Responsibilities include coordinating food stock, driving vans and Fork Lift Trucks, and maintaining high safety standards. This warehouse job offers the opportunity to contribute to the community by helping redistribute food to those in need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all warehouse duties, ensuring food is distributed safely and efficiently.
  • Drive vans and Fork Lift Trucks to deliver and collect food.
  • Maintain clean and organized workspaces inside and outside the warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.
  • Collaborate with volunteers and staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Accurately log food movements and manage depot administration tasks.
