About the Role
The Website Content Officer will work closely with the Digital Team Lead to create and optimize user-centered content for a leading Cancer Research Charity. This role involves producing, editing, and publishing content that is accurate, engaging, and impactful. The Website Content Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all content is optimized for user experience, accessibility, and SEO, contributing to the redesign of the charity’s website.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and publish user-focused content on digital platforms.
- Support the Content Designer in developing content for the redesigned sections of the website.
- Audit and evaluate content for accuracy, relevance, and performance.
- Provide support and guidance to Content Leads and assist with content audits.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan, update, and maintain the homepage.
- Ensure all content is accessible and inclusive, meeting the needs of diverse audiences.
