This role involves contributing to original research within the Astrophysics group, publishing in refereed journals, and supporting research activities. You’ll have the freedom to develop your research program, collaborate across Physics and Mathematics, and access Imperial’s significant HPC resources.

Essential Requirements:

  • Hold a PhD (or equivalent) in Astronomy, Physics, or Mathematics, or possess equivalent professional qualifications and experience.
  • Research experience in cosmology, machine learning, and reionization.
  • Experience presenting at internationally recognized conferences and workshops.
  • Programming, modifying, and testing numerical software.
  • Demonstrated high-quality research independently and collaboratively, evidenced by a portfolio of publications.

Desirable Knowledge and Experience:
